LEXSY (Leishmania Protein Expression System) is based on a robust protozoan host. It allows simple and fast high level expression (0.5 g per litre of culture) of bioactive proteins with all eukaryotic post-translational modifications.
These new generation of LEXSY expression vectors offers six alternative antibiotic selection markers allowing either higher protein yields due to increasing copy number co-expression of up to six different proteins simultaneously in the same cell.
